Located on the Grand Western Canal, this is a truly special Living Heritage Tourist Attraction.
The horse-drawn barge trip is suitable for all the family and meanders along the banks of the Grand Western Canal through the country park. This nature reserve is full of different species of animals, plants and birds. The trip last two and a half hours and during that time if you fancy tea, coffee, alcohol, snacks or ice-creams you can visit the small bar and shop. The trips are available from 1st April until 31st October. At the end of your trip you can either stroll along the canal path, let you children explore the play area, visit the Ducks Ditty floating bar or hire a boat to paddle yourself along the canal.
