Bigbury-on-Sea which is one mile away is a small coastal village on Devon's South Coast. It has large sandy beaches, rock pools and is safe for swimming. It is also a great place for walking, along the beach, across the farm or around the River Avon.
It has all the local services that you could want with cafe, a pub, a beach shop, village stores and even a golf club!
The Camping Barn has a fully equipped kitchen, showers/wet room, three bedrooms and large outside area with car parking.
Upstairs:
The main bedroom has 1 double bed and 4 single beds.
There is also another large room with three sofa beds and 7 camping beds for your use. This room also doubles up for social gatherings should the weather be inclement.
Downstairs:
Kitchen - fully equipped to cater for large groups with induction hob, microwave, slow cooker, urn, fridge/freezer. Please note no main oven as outside there is a wood fired pizza oven and bbq.
Downstairs Bedroom - one double bed with single bunk over the top.
Bathroom - large bathroom area with two showers, two toilets, wet room and plenty of shelves and hooks.
Outside - Drying Room/store, two hot showers, Wood-fired Hot Tub for 8 people, Wood-fired Sauna for 8 people, cold plunge and fire pit all for your exclusive use.
Please note there is no central heating within the barn. There are heated towel rails and an oil-fired radiator for your use.
The Camping Barn provides a unique base for large groups whether family reunions or sporty groups. A great spot to explore all the treasures of the South Hams and relax in the tranquility of the rolling hills under the stars.
