Stickwick Manor & Cottages are set in over 50 acres of beautiful Devon countryside. The three lovely Grade II listed self-catering properties are set on the edge of the Dartmoor village of Hennock and are steeped in history dating back to the 1780's when life took somewhat a slower pace of life.
Stickwick Manor (Sleeps 6-12), in 7 bedrooms, with 6 bathrooms (4 ensuite, 2 with slipper baths in the bedrooms). It's a very spacious home with grand reception rooms and spacious bedrooms. Set over three floors, the rooms have charm and character and the dining room has a large mahogany table (seat 12-14) and inglenook fireplace. With additional tables the dining room can seat 24 guests, making Stickwick ideal for special occasions.
Stickwick Farmhouse (Sleeps 2-7), in 3 bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite). It has beautiful exposed oak beams, stone features and wood-burning fires that ooze Devon farmhouse character.
(Manor & Farmhouse can interconnect, sleeping 19 across 10 bedrooms with 8 bathrooms)
Stickwick Cottage (Sleeps 2-5, adjoins the Manor), in 2 bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite). Provides cosy comfortable country-style accommodation.
With the rustic GAMES BARN (pool table, table tennis, ride-on toys, dressing up box, books, and games), large play area (swing, slide, sandpit), OUTDOOR KITCHEN (Toasting Shack) with fire pit and gas BBQ, gas pizza oven, farm animals, ANIMAL FEEDING- friendly donkeys (Rockey/Max/Duke), goats, ducks, rabbits, and chickens. FARMSHOP-larder room (stocked with local and homemade fayre), pre order or pick up during your stay, SUNNY south-facing GARDENS, and free WIFI available in each property; we are ideal for family/group gatherings of all ages. Stickwick is less than 2 miles from the pretty town of Bovey Tracey, gateway to Dartmoor, with its famous Devon Guild of Craftsmen, House of Marbles, and numerous restaurants. The beaches of Dawlish/Teignmouth are within 7 miles; numerous golf courses within a half-hour drive and Dartmoor with excellent walking and riding on your doorstep.
