A family run dairy farm, Stanborough is a great location for walks, gardens and visiting the following; Dartmouth with its Royal Naval College, Totnes full of spirit with its arts and Agricultural show in July, Dartington, Salcombe ideal if you love boats & little shops, Kingsbridge with its estuary, cinema & Fair Week in July & Agricultural show in September, Dartmoor full of breath taking walks as well as the coastal walks close by. Then we have the larger towns with Exeter and its beautiful cathedral plus wonderful shops and Plymouth, star of the Barbican and The Hoe. With time on your hands, visiting all the above places is very enjoyable and we haven't even mentioned any of the fantastic beaches and villages to see in between. You are sure to run out of time but we can guarantee it really is a great area to visit!

If you choose to stay 6 nights or more, we offer you one free evening meal during your stay which uses as much farm produce as possible. This is a three course meal with one snag... you have to bring your own wine!

We also offer an option of Bed, Breakfast and Evening Meal (2 courses) for an additional £15 per person, per night of your stay. This is available if your booking is for 4 nights or more.

There are two pubs in walking distance of the farm, The Old Inn at Halwell and The New Inn at Moreleigh both serving good ales & food. What could be better, a day out exploring the area, back for a little lie down and a hot shower before walking to the pub for a well deserved drink & meal - perfect, you are on holiday!!
