We are privileged to farm this beautiful, rural, traditional 45 acre farm. The farmhouse is Grade 11 listed but with traditional and modern features and facilities. We breed Jacob and Black Welsh Mountain sheep and rear calves who are all kept in order by Nell and Ralph the 2 wonderful sheepdogs..

A working farm bordered by the River Tale which captures the magic of the countryside - sheep, cows, calves, free range chickens and working sheep dogs. An idyllic setting with excellent facilities in a very traditional environment. The farmhouse is Grade II listed, but has modern facilities. Awarded a "Tourism Oscar" for excellent food in the Taste of England Awards, the breakfast menu is a real treat, with special dishes on offer daily. You will really enjoy staying in this beautiful rural location and can enjoy wonderful walks around the farm, or meander down through the orchard and sit by the lovely pond and watch the sun set over the fields. Whilst very peaceful and rural, the City of Exeter is only 12 miles away and we are well located as a stop over if travelling to Cornwall. The village of Payhembury has a Church, Pub and superb local shop for you to enjoy - all of which is an idyllic walk through the lanes of approximately 1 mile.
