I am absolutely delighted to tell you that Country Ways has been shortlisted in the 2014 Wedding Industry Awards and are now Regional Finalists in the Venue category! WOW!! We just can’t seem to wipe the enormous smiles off our faces!
We have only been licenced to hold Civil Ceremonies here at Country Ways since January this year so we were reluctant to advertise our Wedding facilities in the Autumn of 2012 in case there was a problem with our application for a Licence. As a result we have had only a few weddings this year, so our response to the news that one of the couples who had celebrated their wedding here this summer had nominated us in the 2014 Wedding Industry Awards was utter disbelief and enormous delight! We immediately let our other wedding couples know that they could vote for us and very soon they all had given us their vote of confidence…. I can’t thank them enough for their support and belief in us. It was tremendous fun working with them and helping them to realise their Wedding dreams.
We really don’t expect to win and actually we don’t need to… our reward is knowing that we are giving our couples the chance to achieve a dream, a Wedding that they and their guests will remember as stepping into a world of their own for a weekend.
With 15 deposits now taken for 2014 Weddings, 3 for 2015 and more enquiries almost daily… I think we’ve found something that works, something that is unique to Country Ways and something that is very special to everyone who celebrates a Wedding here.
