Brenda and Roger Savery from West Down Farm Guest House have done Devon proud by becoming a finalist in the AA’s Friendliest Bed and Breakfast of the year 2013 competition.
This is a great achievement for West Down Farm which was one of
25 finalists shortlisted from over 2,600 bed & breakfasts inspected by the AA.
All the finalists were nominated by the AA’s Hotel Inspectors and the
winning B&B was awarded the coveted title at the AA’s Bed and Breakfast
Awards lunch held on 28th May at the St Ermin’s Hotel in London.
Situated between South Molton and Torrington, West Down Farm is a
beautiful 16th Century farmhouse set in stunning countryside. Guests receive
a genuine warm welcome and Brenda is always on hand to answer any
questions or suggest places to visit. At West Down you can enjoy wonderful home cooked food and often’ home grown’ meals, which are always extra tasty.
The four guest rooms all provide an excellent standard of accommodation even for the less mobile.
Speaking of her nomination for AA’s Friendliest B&B Brenda said, “I strongly
